Back pain
Why is my back sore?
There are many reasons why people suffer backpain. It can be sedentary lifestyle, wear and tear, injury or there could be underlying health issues that manifest itself as back pain.
At Perfect Therapy clinic we will be able to asses you and suggest what the cause of your back pain might be. We will discuss your goals and plan the treatment. Sometimes we might recommend for you to see your GP or a consultant and/ or to get a scan, X-ray or other investigation.
Common causes of back pain include:
- sciatica
- herniated disc
- arthritis
- sprain
- muscle strain
- osteoporosis
- ankylosing spondylitis
- vertebral fracture
- spondylolisthesis

- scar
Back pain can be also a symptom of kidney infection, endometriosis or other gynaecological issue, bowel problems or cancer. It is therefore important to recognise red flags and refer to your GP for investigations if we suspected other than musculoskeletal or orthopaedic cause of your backpain.
How can we help to relieve backpain?
